What is Roller Derby?
Roller Derby is played in two 30-minute halves. Teams are 15 skaters, fielding 5 skaters per ‘jam’ with each ‘jam’ lasting upto 2 minutes, unless called off by the ‘Lead Jammer’.

Referees are essential components of every game. It’s their job to award points scored, call penalties, monitor skater and spectator safety, and ensure that the game stays legal, fair and flowing.
